Taking part in Star Pawformers loose lead walking training, you will uncover why your dog pulls on the lead whether they pull to get where they are going or they’re wanting to engage with the environment. We’ll take a gentle approach to understanding your dog’s habits and how they can be taught to walk nicely by your side.
Through a variety of training methods, chosen for your dog based on breed, age and a variety of factors, you’ll walk together with a range of real-world stimuli affecting your training to prepare both you and your dog to walk nicely through parks, housing estates and around other dogs.
With plenty of time in class to understand how your dog walks and why they pull whilst on a lead, our highly qualified and accredited trainers will work with you to establish a plan based around positive reinforcement allowing you and your dog to have more freedom.
